Remember . . .

-when the next big thing was finding the smoothest rock possible, just so you could hold it in your hand?
-when being outside felt warm and wonderful, like summer?
-when you had your 'down by the riverside' moment?

-the last time you chose obedience instead?
-the last time you felt complete and utter joy?
-the last time you felt hugged by Abba?

There is so much to learn from a four year old.

Seek the LORD and his strength; Seek His face evermore!   ~ Psalm 105:4

Blessings,

Colors of Summer

I made this quilt over the summer for my cousin's little angel.
Mama requested that the quilt have black in it, so it wouldn't be overly girly, and I complied.
I hope Baby Eden Faith enjoys it.
That's my mama holding it. "Hi," Mom.

This is me in my Mom's backyard, after my little brother's baptism. We had a grand time welcoming him into God's Forever Family. This picture was taken by my favorite uncle, Uncle Ron.

The "Down by the Riverside" cake created by my cousin's friend was delish.

The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.   ~2 Peter 3:9
