Unexpected Blessings

This summer my friend, Joyce, had the wonderful opportunity to go on a mission's trip to South Africa. She would be writing this herself, but she say's she's no blogger. She is a teacher, dancer, daughter of God, and now missionary. Joyce came for dinner this past weekend and shared so much with our family that now Little E is ready to go on a mission's trip herself.

Below is a picture of Joyce with the kids of the Little Oaks Children Home at Alon Farm in South Africa. Alon Farm is a ministry of Alon International and you can find their information here: http://www.alon.org.za/index.html

Check them out. Talk about being the hands and feet of Christ. The families at Alon Farm are truly living like the early followers of the Way.

Nor was there any among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of land or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of things that were sold, and laid them at they apostles' feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.  ~Acts 4:34-35 (NKJV)

I'll be sharing more of Joyce's story over the next few days: the good, the bad, and the blessings. Well, I think the only bad was the unexpected cold, so I guess what I'll really be sharing is the good, the beautiful, and the blessings.

I pray when you have the opportunity to bless someone else today, that you will rise to the occasion to the praise of His Glory.

Lovin' Him,

Simone
