More Grace Please?

The day started off wrong.
Woke up at 6:45.
Swished and swiped bathroom.
Made a big breakfast.
Woke up tired kids, just because.
Yelled at said kids for being kids and making a mess.
Wondered if I was going crazy.
Prayer from the pantry: "God, please help. I can't do this alone."

"...My grace is sufficient for you, for my power
is made perfect in weakness." ~2 Corinthians 12:9

Facilitated a room cleaning.
Took care of Baby Z.
Did laundry.
Checked school work.
Checked emails too many times.
Took care of Baby Z.
Made a promise to read a story and didn't.
Made a yummy dinner.
Family prayer and confession.
Apologized for being nasty.
Said goodnight.
Can I have a do-over please?

". . . Like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth fruit in his season." ~Psalm 1:3

  2. I was thinking of you last night and wondering how you are and thinking about "doing over" and this is what the Lord dropped into my heart for you:
"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, the Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him" ~ Lamentations 3:22-24 (NIV)
Every day is a new day, a new slate. His mercies are new every morning so the reality is that we do get do-overs, everyday!
Don't beat yourself up, We are not perfect, none of us are and that is the best thing. It is because we are not perfect that we need to look to HIm and let Him work in us, the glory and the lifter of our heads!!
Brush off yesterday and remember, His mercies are new every morning. :-)

    1. Thank you so much for your encouragement. God's word is always good isn't it? He is always good. His word has all we need for life and godliness. Blessings to you.

I realize that I need more rest and more WORD in, so I can give more LOVE out. I've been working on memorizing the fighter verses. God is good and his mercy endures forever.

Please let me know how we can pray for you.

      Love in Christ.

  3. There is an online devotional community where a whole bunch of women read the same devo everyday and share testimonies on how the Word speaks to them. I'm wondering if you might be interested because sometimes when we are in our daily routine and grind, it feels terribly lonely, yet we don't have the time to hang out with friends to talk and share over a cup of coffee but we do have a couple of minutes to get online and at least get strengthened and encouraged by others' testimonies and the Word itself, and not feel that we are alone in our corners of the world. The site is called She Reads Truth. I started a week ago and I really like it. You might, too.

You could pray for us in the area of paperwork as we are in the process of moving to another country. For all that we have to do before we move.

I hope you do get more rest as that is essential and you are right, unless we receive, we can't give. The joy of the Lord is our strength.

    Many blessings.
